The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the slow progress of investigation into the F.I.R. No. 35 dated 28.01.2021 lodged with the Kasba Police Station. It is submitted that the accused-respondent no.6 posing as a police officer has defrauded the petitioner of sums of money and the other allegations inter alia under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code are also against the said accused person. It is further submitted that the allegations, inter alia, under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code are also made since the accused posing as a police officer married the writ petitioner.

Counsel for the State submits that investigation is on.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is being threatened/coerced and intimidated into

withdrawing the complaint against the respondent no.6.

In the above circumstances, it is ordered that the investigation into the aforesaid F.I.R. be completed within a period of two months from date and final report be submitted to the jurisdictional Magistrate. A photostat copy of the said report made available to the Counsel for the writ petitioner. The petitioner shall have the remedies against such report in accordance with law.

In the event, the petitioner feels further threatened or insecure, she may approach the Kasba Police Station, who shall provide necessary security to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
