The allegation is very serious. The petitioners are three of the several accused persons. It is alleged that the accused persons kidnapped a 9 year old boy (victim), demanded ransom, murdered the boy and dumped the dead body in a canal. Pursuant to information given by the accused person the body was recovered. Forensic report is there. The volume of material in the case diary prima facie incriminating the petitioners is considerable. The trial is in progress. Nine witnesses have already been examined. Given the nature and gravity of the alleged offence and the material in the case diary, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. However, in view of the fact that the petitioners have been in custody for quite some time, we request the learned Court below to expedite the trial to the extent possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion as early as the business of the Court may permit.

Accordingly, CRM 4100 of 2021 is dismissed.
