Notice served in terms of the previous order upon the learned advocate representing the State respondents is filed and taken on record.

Today State respondents are represented by learned advocate.

Petitioner being widow daughter has prayed for sanction of family pension since father of the petitioner died on 10th August, 2009 who was a primary teacher and after death of petitioner's father mother was in receipt of family pension. Mother of the petitioner died on 2nd August, 2022. Therefore, according to the petitioner being widow daughter she is entitled to receive family pension who lost her husband on 27th November, 2022.

In support of claim of the petitioner legal heir certificate dated 26th September, 2024 issued by the competent authority and income certificate dated 3rd

December, 2024 issued by the Block Development Officer are annexed to this writ petition.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has placed before this Court a report dated 16th June, 2025 which is taken on record. From the report, it appears that District Inspector of Schools (PE), Purba Medinipur has already settled family pension case of the petitioner and it is submitted that pension file is to be forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance soon.

Respondent no.3 is directed to forward pension file of the petitioner at an early date but not later than seven days from date.

On receipt of pension file Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being respondent no.2 is directed to issue pension payment order on compliance with necessary formalities within a period of three weeks thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
