The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per Rules within a week from date of passing of this Order. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing.

The petitioners are two of several accused persons. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been in custody since June, 2018. Several co-accused persons, standing on the same footing, have been granted bail by this Court. Learned Counsel for the State says that the persons who have been granted bail may not be on the same footing. The bail prayer of the present petitioners was earlier turned down by this Court. The recording of evidence is

complete. September 2, 2021 has been fixed as the date for argument.

Since the matter is at the argument stage, we are not inclined to allow the petitioners' prayer for bail at this stage. Accordingly, the application for bail being C.R.M. 4104 of 2021 is dismissed.

However, we request the learned Court below to dispose of the case at the earliest and preferably within two months from date without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
