The petitioner is in custody for more than a year and renews his prayer for bail.

Learned counsels for the State and the de facto compliant oppose the prayer.

It appears that the petitioner is the principal accused who hurled bomb at the victim resulting in his death. There are at least 14 criminal antecedents to the credit of the petitioner. Trial is in progress.

Considering the material on record as well as alleged involvement of the petitioner in the crime, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
