Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not the owner of the land. His father is the owner of the land on which it is alleged that poppy cultivation took place.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the case is of 2015. The petitioner was evading the process of Court all this time.

Considering the nature of the offences and the complicity of the petitioner therein and the conduct of the petitioner in the police case, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM 4113 of 2021 is, accordingly, dismissed.
