Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that in spite of recommendation letter issued by the concerned authority of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, the petitioner could not join the recommended post being a selected candidate in 1st State Level Selection Test (AT), 2016 for upper primary level of classes.

However, during course of hearing, learned advocates representing the school authority and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission jointly submitted that the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission has issued a Memo dated 22nd/24th April, 2025 whereby recommendation memo dated 16th November, 2024 which was issued in favour of the petitioner was withdrawn and cancelled in terms of the relevant rules.

It is also submitted that such decision contained in memo dated 22nd/24th April, 2024 is not under challenge in this writ petition.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition and leave is prayed for to file afresh.

Copy of the memo dated 22nd/24th April, 2025 is taken on record.

In view of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh questioning the memo dated 22nd/24th April, 2025 issued by the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission.
