Despite service of notice, the State is not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved that Laketown Police Station has not registered the FIR despite repeated complaints made to the police.

The petitioner has also made a complaint to Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and the Home Secretary, Government of West Bengal.

The petitioner's normal remedy is under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure to seek a direction on the local Police Station.

In view of the facts as above, reserving liberty to the petitioner to move an application under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any order. There will be no order as to costs.
