It submitted that there was a love affair between the parties. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including statement of the minor victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

It appears from her statement that she had been forcible abducted and taken to Mumbai and ravished. In view of the gravity of the offence and the aforesaid incriminating materials against the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to him. Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date bearing in mind the statutory mandate under 35(2) of the POCSO Act.
