The petitioner is alleging that though he is a member of the other backward community (OBC) but the OBC-A certificate since was not in his possession at the relevant point of time he had participated in the Teacher Eligibility Test as a general candidate but was unsuccessful.

The petitioner is claiming that subsequently the said certificate has come in his possession and his learned advocate by a representation dated February 17, 2024 has applied before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the respondent no. 2 herein, to treat him as OBC- A candidate and

to declare him successful in the said test. The said representation forms part of the writ petition being annexure 'P-6'.

The respondent no. 2 is directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing as expeditiously as possible.

W.P.A 10723 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
