It has been submitted before this Court by the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties that the disputes between them have been amicably resolved. In this regard, a joint application for compromise has been filed, being CRAN 1 of 2026. The report submitted by the State also confirms that the investigating agency has been duly informed of the compromise arrived at between the parties.

This Court is of the view that the dispute in question is essentially a private dispute between neighbouring parties and does not have any adverse impact on public peace or tranquillity.

In view of the principles laid down in (2014) 9 SCC 653 (Yogendra Yadav v. State of Jharkhand), this Court finds it appropriate to exercise its inherent jurisdiction in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

Accordingly, ACGR No. 2712 of 2025 arising out of Kasba Police Station Case No. 182 of 2025 dated 26.04.2025 under Sections 329(4), 115(2), 117(2), 109, 305, 324(4), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, presently pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, is hereby quashed in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties. Consequently, CRR 1845 of 2026 along with CRAN 1 of 2026 stands disposed of.
