Vaisya Mr. Nilay Baran Mondal ..for DPSC, Purulia Mr. Sagnik Chatterjee ..for the State The present pupil teacher ratio of the school where the petitioner is working now is 52 : 1 which appears from the report in the form of an affidavit filed by the respondent no.7. Therefore, at this stage there cannot be any question of transfer of the petitioner from the present school to some other school. However, if situation arises then he may take appropriate steps for his transfer from the present school. The ratio which has been shown in the report is much above the ratio as required under the rules framed by the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

The report in the form of an affidavit affirmed on 8th August, 2023 is kept on record.

The writ application is disposed of.
