Petitioner complains that petitioner's electricity and water connection has been disrupted and to that effect, the meter room has been kept under lock and key, so that there is no access to the electricity authorities when they intend to reconnect. Petitioner has submitted representation to the police authorities but according to the petitioner no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that there are non-payments in respect of the electricity. A mass petition has been filed by the residents. There are proceedings under section 144

of the Cr.P.C. There are also dues so far as the maintenance charges are concerned.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 5, 6, 7 & 8 submits that the petitioner is not staying for a considerable period of time.

Be that as it may, having regard to the limited role of the police authorities in such type of dispute, I direct that the police authorities would oversee that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility. In case the petitioner stays at his residence, it is further directed that no untoward incident may result because of the present strained relationship between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 10270 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
