1. On the prayer of learned counsel for the appellants, leave is granted to the learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioners to carry out the necessary corrections to the cause title and the prayer portion of the applications for condonation of delay and restoration to the effect that restoration of a previous application bearing CAN 4472 of 2018,

renumbered as CAN 1 of 2018, has been sought instead of the appeal. Such amendments shall be carried out during the course of the day.

2. In view of service having been effected and by virtue of appearance through counsel, further service on the Plaintiff/Respondent No. 1 is dispensed with. Since the other respondents did not contest the matter, service on the other respondents is also dispensed with.

3. However, since certain allegations have been made in the present applications against the erstwhile learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, we are of the opinion that for the sake of propriety, a copy of both the applications should be served on the said learned erstwhile Advocate. Since such learned erstwhile Advocate for the appellants is present in court upon having notice of the matter from the list, copies may be handed over to him during the course of the day.

4. The matter shall be taken up under the same heading on November 25, 2024.
