The petitioner is alleging that Hannan Molla, Mosaraf Morol and Sirajul Mallick, the private respondent nos.

9, and respectively have encroached upon the public land and have put up unauthorized construction thereon.

The said respondents are not represented in spite of service.

It appears from record that the petitioner, ventilating his such grievances, has given a representation to the Assistant Engineer, Canning Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads), Distgrict : 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no.4 herein, a copy of the said representation has been forwarded to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Canning, District : 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no.6 herein, i.e. the concerned

authority. The said representation dated March 20, 2025 is appearing at page '15' being Annexure 'P-3" to the writ petition.

The respondent no. 6, therefore, is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties including the private respondent nos. 9 to 11 and the said respondent shall communicate the decision to the parties.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

WPA 10048 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
