Mr. Sourav Mukherjee ...for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Sen Mr. Nirupam Dhali ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that after the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected earlier on 13.12.2024 in CRM (A) 4336 of 2024, there is an amicable settlement arrived at between the private parties. This is a State case with some serious allegations and a so-called amicable settlement between the private parties is not a material change in circumstance, which will render a second application for anticipatory bail maintainable.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is dismissed as not maintainable.
