None appears for the petitioner. No accommodation has been sought for.

The present revisional application was preferred against the order dated 06.04.2017 passed by learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 5th Court, Alipore in Criminal Appeal No. 170 of 2016 wherein the learned appellate court was pleased to refuse any interim order of stay during the pendency of the appeal as the appellant could not deposit the requisite amount within the period so fixed. The appeal was preferred in the year 2016. Almost six years have passed in the meantime and so far as the issue of interim order is concerned, the same has become infructuous with passage of time. The revisional application on the issue for which it was preferred before this Court after six years seems to have no force.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 1220 of 2017 is dismissed.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

The appellate court is directed to dispose of the appeal, if the same has not already been disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
