It appears that pursuant to the application filed under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore and an order passed therein, specific criminal cases have been registered at Dum Dum Police Station against the respondents Nos. 6, 7, 11 and 12 and some others. They Dum Dum Police Station Case No.94 of 2022 dated February 9, 2022 under Sections 448/384/323/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Dum Dum Police Station Case No.946 of 2020 dated December 16, 2020 under Sections 448/323/325/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code was initiated against the said respondents. Dum Dum Police Station Case No.705 of 2020 dated October 13, 2020 under Sections
448/384/323/325/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, and Dum Dum Police Station Case No.628 of 2021 dated June 9, 2021 under Sections 448/384/323/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Dum Dum Police Station Case No.94 of 2022 ended with the filing of a charge sheet being Dum Dum Charge Sheet No.103 of 2022 dated February 28, 2022. Dum Dum Police Station Case No.946 of 2020 ended with the filing of a charge sheet being Dum Dum Charge Sheet No.1123 of 2021 dated November 23, 2021. Dum Dum Police Station Case No.705 of 2020 also ended with the filing of a charge sheet vide Dum Dum Charge Sheet No.815 of 2020 dated November 25, 2020. Dum Police Station Case No.628 of 2021 ended with the filing of a charge sheet being Dum Dum Charge Sheet No.875 of 2021 dated August 31, 2021.
Subsequent to further complaints, general diaries have also been registered. The police authorities have come to the conclusion that there is a dispute with regard to property. The petitioner has also filed several petitions against the son and daughter-in-law of the petitioner.
Under such circumstances, as the police authorities have investigated into the complaints and taken necessary steps as per law, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition. The police authorities are directed to maintain strict vigil in order to ensure that the parties maintain law and order. The rights of the petitioner before other fora, if any, are kept open.
The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
