Records reveal that a coordinate Bench of this Court granted interim bail to the petitioner on 21st September, 2021 observing inter alia that 'the families have negotiated and the petitioner and the victim girl are due to get married sometime this year as soon as the victim girl attains majority'.

Today, Mr. Rakib, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has already married the victim and produces the copies of certificate of marriage. Let the same be kept on record.

Ms. Gomes, learned advocate, who has entered appearance on behalf of the de facto complainant, does not dispute the fact that the petitioner has already married the victim.

Answering a query of this Court, Mr. Mitra, learned advocate appearing for the State, submits that upon completion of investigation charge sheet has also been filed. In view of the previous observations, made by the coordinate Bench and as the petitioner has married the victim girl and since upon completion of investigation charge sheet has been submitted, the interim bail, as granted in favour of the petitioner, stands confirmed.

The application for bail, being CRM 4185 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
