No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 1375 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Baishnabnagar Police Station Case No. 526 of 2016 dated 04.07.2016 under Sections 447/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In the matter of : Archan Halder ...... petitioner Mr. Nilanjan Adhikari ....for the petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguly, Mr. Srilekha Chattopadhyay ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Police case is dated July 4, 2016. Trial of the police case was held after splitting up such police case as against the absconder which includes the petitioner.

In view of the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1375 of 2024 is disposed of.
