In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. G.R. case no. 2829 of 2023 arising out of Rajarhat Police Station case no. 305 of 2023 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas, be quashed. CRR 1593 of 2024 and the applications, being CRAN 1 of 2024 and CRAN 2 of 2025 are disposed of.
