1. It has been submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that in compliance of the direction passed by the Court, the petitioner was permitted to participate in the counselling process and a school has been identified by the petitioner where there is matching vacancy for providing appointment.

2. The formal recommendation letter has not been issued till date because of the pendency of the instant writ petition.

3. A copy of the declaration signed by the petitioner and countersigned by the Secretary of the West Bengal School Service Commission on

11th June, 2025 as to the selection of a school by the petitioner on attending counselling has been produced in Court today by the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

4. As it appears that a school with matching vacancy has been found to be available, accordingly, the Commission is directed to issue the recommendation letter in favour of the petitioner for the school which has been selected by the petitioner on the day of counselling.

5. Such recommendation letter shall be issued to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. After issuance of the recommendation letter, all the concerned authorities shall take necessary consequential steps in the matter in accordance with law without any further delay.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
