And In the matter of : Jakia Gazi alias Jakia Laskar ...... petitioner Mr. Arpan Mondal ....for the petitioner Mr. Avishek Sinha ....for the State There is a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code implicating the petitioner in the incident.

It is alleged that the petitioner was instrumental in videographying the incident of gang-rape.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner in the incident, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

CRM (A) 1774 of 2023 is rejected.
