However, during course of hearing it has been pointed out on behalf of the parties that the petitioner was appointed on being selected through 1st State Level Selection Test 2016 (classes IX and X). It is also submitted by the learned advocates that the entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court no order need be passed on this writ petition.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in future if situation so arises.
