Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 48 days and the investigation of the case has already been completed. According to the ld. Advocate, there is hardly any scope for the investigating agency to further interrogate the present petitioner, as such, he may be released on bail. Ld. Advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary and has drawn the attention of the Court to the statement of the witnesses including the statement of the victim under section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

Having considered the nature of the allegations, I am of the view that the prayer for bail of the petitioner, at this stage, cannot be granted and the same is rejected. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach this court after the evidence of the victim is over. Accordingly, CRM (SB) 46 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Case Diary be returned to the ld. Advocate for the State.

The Envelope containing the service upon the o.p. no.2 be kept with the record.
