IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

CONSTITUTIONAL WRIT JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE W.P.A. No. 9573 of 2022 Dilip Kumar Sasmal Vs.

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Sujit Sankar Koley ... for the WBSEDCL Mr. Debasish Basu ...for the State None appeared for the petitioner when the matter was called on for hearing on November 14, 2022. However, a last chance was given to the petitioner for filing affidavit-in-reply.

Since the petitioner chooses to remain unrepresented today as well, W.P.A. No. 9573 of 2022 is dismissed for default without, however, any order as to costs.

Before parting with the matter, it is relevant to record, as pointed out by the learned advocate for the State, Mr. Debasish Basu, although he did not represent the petitioner but appear for the State, even on the last occasion, that is, on November 14, 2022, his name was recorded erroneously in the order as appearing for the petitioner. Such error be deemed to

stand corrected and this order be treated to be a part of the order dated November 14, 2022 inasmuch as such correction is concerned.

The name of Mr.

Debasish Basu, learned advocate, shall be deemed to be recorded to have appeared for the State on both the dates of hearing in W.P.A. No. 9573 of 2022.
