For the State Mr. Sourav Mukherjee, learned advocate, appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 54 days and she should be released on bail in view of the nature of allegations levelled against her.

Learned advocate appears for the State and submits that in this case, charge sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner and the principal accused.

It appears that the petitioner is the mother of the principal accused. The petitioner was marginally minor at the time of the alleged offence.

Having regard to the complicity of the alleged offence as, prima facie, appears from the case records, I am of the view that further custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary.

Accordingly, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia and with a further direction that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and meet the Investigating Officer once in a fortnight until further order.

Accordingly, the application being C.R.M. 4232 of 2021 is allowed and disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the petitioner upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
