The petitioners have filed the instant application for bail in connection with NCB Crime No. 19/NCB/KOL/2020 dated 19.09.2020 under Sections 8(c)/22(c)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act.

Indubitably commercial quantity of contraband has been recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioners. In view of the rigor of Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

As such, the prayer for bail is rejected.

The application being CRM 4230 of 2021 is accordingly dismissed.

However, We request the Special Judge, NDPS Court to expedite the trial.
