A demolition order in respect of the said building was passed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation on April 9, 2024.

The Corporation is about to execute the demolition work.

The petitioner, however, undertakes before this Court to vacate the premises in question within five months from date.

In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner, the Corporation shall not execute the demolition order for a period of five months. After expiry of said five months, the Corporation will be at liberty to execute the demolition work.

Accordingly, WPA 10847 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
