1. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the writ petition was preferred at the stage when there were certain apprehensions regarding a fair or mela to be conducted/organized which is referred to in the writ petition. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that presently such fair is in progress.

2. Learned advocate for the State has submitted that the mela is being celebrated and as such there is no hindrance which has been created by the administration.

3. Police authorities are also keeping their vigil to ensure that there is no interference and/or obstruction by any of the parties.

4. Learned advocate for the respondents are present and submits that there is a status quo order.

5. Be that as it may, since no interference is called for, WPA 9979 of 2025 is disposed of.

6. Report so submitted be taken on record.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties upon all formalities, if applied for. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
