Mr. Joydeep Roy Afrin Begum ... For the State The petitioner is in custody for more than a year and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that prosecution shall examine three more witnesses which shall be completed within a very short period of time. The bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down by this Court earlier considering the material on record. Since only three more witnesses remain to be examined and it is expected that it will not take much time for completion of trial, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The application for bail is disposed of.
