1. Petitioner before us is an advocate by profession. In his professional capacity, he assaulted the Public Prosecutor.

2. Materials in the case diary suggest requirement of investigation.

3. The incident occurred within the court premises. Incident occurred apparently as a fall out of an order dated November 24, 2023 passed in CRM (DB) 3436 of 2023 passed by the Coordinate Bench.

4. Granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner before us will send a wrong signal to the society.

5. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

7. C.R.M. (A) 1381 of 2024 is dismissed.
