In connection with aforementioned case the petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of bail pending trial.

Having heard the learned Counsels for the petitioner and the State and on careful perusal of the case diary it is found that fake currency notes were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is also alleged that the petitioner had procured the seized fake currency notes for illegally using them around the locality adjacent to porous international border of India and Bangladesh. Considering the gravity of offence we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Prayer for bail is therefore rejected.
