Dey, Mr. Supratim Dhar ..for the State The allegation of the petitioner in this petition is in respect of corruption and embezzlement of public fund at Binodpur Gram Panchayat in the district of Malda in the course of execution of different works under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme and also under the Deference General Work Fund.
When the matter is taken up today, it is pointed out that the petitioner has already filed the representation dated 25th January, 2022 before the respondent no.6 i.e. District Magistrate, Malda and the said representation is still pending.
Learned counsel for the State fairly submits that there is no objection in considering the petitioner's representation within a time bound period.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.6 to duly consider the petitioner's
representation and cause an enquiry, if required and take an appropriate action in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It will be open to the petitioner to submit all the relevant materials along with a copy of this order before the respondent no.6 and the petitioner along with the concerned parties will also be entitled to opportunity of hearing in course of the above proceedings.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
