The petitioner has participated in the selection process for Assistant Teacher under the first SLST conducted by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The petitioner was not called for verification. He is aggrieved by the fact that another person, namely Sri Manik Kumar Maiti being respondent No.6, has been appointed.

Now, it is well-settled that an unsuccessful candidate cannot question the selection process or appointment of any person.

This Court cannot allow any enquiry to be made for any unsuccessful candidate.

In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
