Learned advocate for the petitioners apprehend that they may be dispossessed, although they have been cultivating and harvesting paddy in respect of MouzaBhojpur, J.L. No. 41, L.R. Khatian No. 1338, Plot No. 5053, 5934, 5966, 5967, 5965, 4115, 4116, 4920 and 5032.

The private respondents have been made responsible for such interference and it is contended that in spite of informing the police authorities no assistance was rendered.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on receipt of such information police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS and have also kept a strict vigil.

Having regard to the nature of the dispute which is a land dispute, police authorities have no scope for interference without an appropriate order from a Court of

law. However, police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9998 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
