1. By this public interest litigation the petitioner seeks for appropriate directions to take stringent action with regard to the incident of rape and death of the victim which had occurred within the jurisdiction of Kaliaganj Police Station.

2. The leaned Advocate General appearing for the respondent State submitted that the mother of the victim has filed a writ petition before this Court in WPA 10346 of 2023 and orders have been passed and the latest order of the writ petition is dated 27.04.2023.

3. Therefore, when the mother of the victim has already approached this Court, we see no reason to entertain this public interest petition on the said issue. If at all the petitioner has got any additional material, it

is always open to the petitioner to assist the mother of the victim.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
