The petitioner has disclosed the details of NIT and the contract and has made the allegations against the Pradhan of Basanti Gram Panchayat.

When the matter is taken up today learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that the representation dated 25th February, 2022 was made to the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas but the said representation has not been decided till now. Having regard to the nature of controversy involved in the matter, we are of the opinion that the grievance raised by the petitioner in the representation needs to be considered by the respondent no.2.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.2 to duly consider the petitioner's representation and taken an appropriate decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible,

preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
