1. The order passed by the A.E. In charge, Building Department, Howrah Municipal Corporation on 26th March, 2025 has been placed before this Court.

2. Let copy of the same be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

3. It appears there from that the authority has detected unauthorised construction and directed the person responsible for making such construction to self-demolish the illegal/unauthorised construction within seven days, failing which the Corporation will proceed with the work of demolition and recover the cost of demolition from the person responsible.

4. The contempt application stands adjourned till 12th June, 2025 for recording further updates.
