27.04.2023 Ct. No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1792 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Panchla Police Station Case No. 272 of 2022 dated 24.07.2022 under Sections 498A/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Amina Khatun @ Amena Begum ...... petitioner Mr. Anindya Ghosh ....for the petitioner Mr. S. G. Mukherjee, learned Public Prosecutor Mr. Aniket Mitra ....for the State A child of the victim recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner along with other persons in the murder. The neighbours statement tends to corroborate the statement of such child.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1792 of 2023 is dismissed.
