MAT 794 of 2026 with IA No. CAN 2 of 2026 This appeal has been preferred challenging an interlocutory order passed by the learned Single Judge in a writ petition, being WPA 24528 of 2025, in which the appellant was the respondent.

In the course of hearing, we have been informed that the order under appeal has already been acted upon. We have also been informed that previously, alleging

violation of the said interlocutory order, a contempt petition was filed and after compliance with the said order, the University has also filed a compliance report before the learned Single Judge.

In view of the above, we are of the view that nothing remains to be decided in the present appeal.

Accordingly, the appeal and its connected application are disposed of as infructuous.

As the time specified for exchange of affidavits by the parties in the writ petition has already expired, the respondents in the writ petition are directed to file affidavit-in-opposition within two weeks. Reply thereto, if any, be filed within a week after the vacation. The parties shall be at liberty to mention the matter for enlistment and further consideration before the Regular Bench after expiry of the period stipulated for exchange of affidavits between the parties.
