Public Prosecutor Mr. Parthapratim Das Ms. Amita Gaur ... ... for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 117 days. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
We have considered the materials on record. We find that the minor was physically assaulted and ravished by the petitioner. Her child in the womb was caused to be aborted. In view of the aforesaid facts and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The application for bail is thus rejected.
