Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities particularly the Officer-in-Charge, Baruipur Police Station on or about 08.03.2025, no steps have been taken.
State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Baruipur Police Station Case No.927 of 2025 dated 15.05.2025 has been registered for investigation against five accused persons.
Since the genesis of the information so furnished with the police station relates to threat, abuse and assault and the petitioner presently is feeling insecured, the police authorities would, if any further information is brought to their notice, ensure regarding the security of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10197 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
