The petitioners, being the merit-list candidates for admission to B.Ed. course for the session 2024-2026, have been admitted at Sanjoy College of Education, a B.Ed. college affiliated to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University. The grievance of the petitioners is that the University is yet to register the petitioners for the said course. The petitioners are praying that the University may be directed to register them in offline mode as the relevant portal for such registration for the said course is now closed. An Affidavit is filed by the Principal of the said College, the respondent no. 6 herein.

It has been alleged in the said affidavit that due to technical glitch, the credentials of the petitioners could not be uploaded in the relevant portal of the said University within time but in a letter dated April 23, 2025 addressed to the Registrar of the said University, the respondent no. 3 herein, the said Principal has admitted that the College inadvertently, had failed to upload the credentials of 10 B.Ed. students in the relevant portal of the University, which includes the petitioners.

Be that as it may, for the fault of the College, the students cannot be made to suffer; therefore, the University is directed to register the petitioners in the B.Ed. course for the session 20242026 subject to payment of costs of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand rupees only) for each of the petitioners by the said College to the University.

The respondent no. 6 is directed to meet the respondent no. 3 within seven days from date to complete the formalities for such registration.

WPA 9983 of 2025 is thus disposed of with the above terms.
