The petitioner as the pensioner prayed for change of his nominee in respect of grant of family pension as the original nominee Smt. Bhagabati Shit(wife) expired. The petitioner now wants to nominate his only dependant unmarried daughter for grant of family pension as per the rules.

Let the name of Ms. Kalpana Shit be incorporated in all relevant documents as the person entitled to receive the family pension by deleting the name of Bhagabati Shit (since deceased). The Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance shall make the necessary correction within a period of three weeks from date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
