Despite two attempts of service upon the respondent Nos.5 and 6, none appears to represent the said respondents. Learned Advocates for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited and for the State-respondents have filed their individual reports. It appears that as per the direction of this Court on July 16, 2024, inspection was held in the presence of the petitioner as also the respondent Nos.5 and 6. An alternative route has been discovered for effecting new connection with the support of a PCC pole. A sketch map was

drawn in presence of both the parties and parties agreed to the alternative route.

Under such circumstances, connection shall be effected to the petitioner's premises within a period of one month from the petitioner complying with other formalities, if required. Reports are taken on record.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
