The petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the Aushgram Police Station in taking steps with regard to a complaint dated May 7, 2021 lodged through his learned Advocate.

Counsel for the State Mr. Chowdhury submits that although there was initial delay, the Aushgram Police Station has since registered P.S. Case No. 178/2021 under Sections 143/447/427/506 and Section 34 of the IPC.

In those circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Aushgram Police

Station to complete investigation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Let a final report be filed with the jurisdictional Magistrate expeditiously thereafter.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
