The petitioner says that he is in custody for about 630 years. There is no substantial progress in the trial The State says that charge sheet has been filed. Thereafter upon obtaining chemical analysis report, supplementary charge sheet has also been filed. September 08, 2021 has been fixed as the date for consideration of charges.

Commercial quantity of contraband item was seized form the possession of the petitioner. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. We also notice that the petitioner's prayer for bail was rejected thrice.

However, since the petitioner has been in detention for quite sometime, we request the learned court below to expedite the trial to the extent possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion as soon as the business of the court may permit. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

CRM 4310 of 2021 is, accordingly, dismissed.
