The petitioner, on February 03, 2010 was engaged as a part-time Information Technology Teacher in the Department of Commerce at Harimohan Ghosh College, a Government aided college.

The Governing Body of the said college, on July 03, 2020 had approved the engagement of the petitioner as State aided college teachercategory-II (SACT-II) on the admissible remuneration as per the Memorandum of the Higher Education Department bearing no. 2081Edn (CS)/10M-83/2019 dated December 23, 2019.

The learned advocate for the petitioner on September 05, 2024 had given a representation to the authorities including the Director of

Public Instruction, Department of Higher Education, the respondent no.4 herein for promotion of the petitioner to the post of SACT-I teacher and fixation of the scale of pay in terms of the said Memorandum dated December 23, 2019. The said representation forms part of the writ petition, being annexure 'P-17' at page 134. The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider the said representation as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

W.P.A 11253 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
