No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1798 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with English Bazar Police Station Case No. 10 of 2023 dated 04.01.2023 under Sections 489(B)/489(C)/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Halim Khan @ Abdul Halim Khan ...... petitioner Mr. Mrityunjoy Chatterjee Mr. Manas Das Mr. Debapriya Majumdar ....for the petitioner Mr. Saibal Bapuli Mr. Soumik Ganguly ....for the State Although, the police filed charge-sheet, materials in the case diary suggest involvement of the petitioner in the fake currency seized.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1798 of 2023 is dismissed.
